Christopher Columbus once called the papaya the “fruit of the angels.”
Now we can see why this heavenly fruit got that nickname, the papaya is very high in antioxidants, B vitamins, vitamin C, potassium, copper, magnesium and it’s high in fiber.
Pineapples are another tasty and beneficial fruit, add a nice ripe banana and top with some super powerful hydrating coconut water and you have yourself a mighty tasty and nutritious smoothie!
1 cup coconut water
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup papaya
Even though you could technically use the papaya seeds in the smoothie, be aware they have a peppery taste and can sometimes be bitter.
Method of Prep:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. We use our Vitamix to make the smoothie you see below.
